PERSPECTIVE PHOTO REALISM STREET ART

I like most of them, painting on such a large scale to get something look real can be a bit difficult.  These art works can only be enjoyed from looking at a certain distance and appeals mostly for people in a social gathering, parks, etc. I also realize that its the location of the painting that makes a difference. In other words, as real as they look, if most of them were to be mounted in a museum or gallery, many of them would loose their appeal. Their strong point comes due to the fact that they are outside in public areas, and the choice of painting and how it makes the viewer feel as if its real, and how the painting seems as tho its an extention of the ground or wall. These paintings have no frames or borders, and this technique achieves the best illusions. Some are even interactive, like the one with the butterfly and the little boy, i cant tell if the little boy is real. But one must consider that the time of day, and camera angle, has alot to do with how the illusion is shown. I also believe cameras create their own illusion, and sinse i never saw those street art illusions in person i cant tell which way seems more realistic, the eyes in person?  Or the camera that sends the photo to the internet? Very often things look fancier on the screen, but in person looks like crap. It goes both ways, i would like to see them in person, The internet is the master of illusion, with it camera and photo shopped tricks, and in many ways i think art works loose their appeal because of this theory
